I got these pants for cool-weather rock climbing; I needed durable, abrasion-resistant pants with a slight bit of stretchiness. The high-quality of these pants material and their casual fit make them excellent for this purpose. Ive layered them with thermals many times in cold weather very comfortably. Additionally, Ive worn these a lot for hiking in cooler weather - and they dont get all clammy or gross with sweat. Zip vents on the legs help cool you off if youre slightly too warm. All-around great pants!!
