Tri Fusion Technology:
Designed by Asolo and developed in conjuction with Vibram, the new Tri Fusion sole is intended for the models with automatic crampons.
The dual-density and -colored rubber sole gives shape to a tri-dimensional deep tread to maximize support. The balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain. The marked heel empowers high levels of grip down hill, while the sleek front area is perfect for climbing. The crampon insert is constructed by the injection of three different densities of thermoplastic polyurethane, which acts as a crampon attachment while performing shock-absorption duties as well.
Dual Integrated System:
The D.I.S. forms an integral part of the heel zone and is specifically designed to facilitate the use of ‘semi automatic’ and ‘automatic’ crampons. Made with two different material-fused together, it offers stability, support and shock absorption.
The upper material in thermoplastic polyurethane grants stability and support while the lower section is in polyurethane offering comfort and shock absorption. This is also combined with the dual-density midsole in microporous additional shock absorption.
