Lightweight, waterproof, breathable and supportive, the Men-s Dhaulagiri II GTX are outstanding boots for backpacking adventures.

The upper features a suede upper and bomber abrasion-resistant mesh, plus a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, debris-beating tongue and sturdy rubber toecap.

There-s an X-Frame crib too, adding support for the kind of side-to-side movement that is inevitably encountered on undulating terrain under a heavy load.

Inside, the NorthoticÔ footbed is ergonomically designed for superb cushioning and support, and a Heal Cradle enables precise heel positioning for extra stability.

Underneath, the Vibram® rubber outsole incorporates self-cleaning lugs that deliver excellent, sure grip along the roughest or wettest of surfaces and throughout the longest of hiking days.

HEAL CRADLE:

The North Face® Heal Cradle consists of a polyurethane (PU) foundation with five pegs protruding vertically from it. A soft EVA panel is placed over the pegs, locking the two together like building blocks. The top layer of soft EVA has a slightly cupped shape that literally cradles the heel, helping to stabilize it in the process. It also works with the underlying PU to absorb impact. Lastly, it offers more lateral/medial stability, positioning the foot for a smooth transition into the next stage of the stride cycle.
