One-person tent encompassing all of Ferrinos research technology
The Emperor tent is the result of continued research into tent technology carried out by Ferrino through the years. Hardwearing, waterproof, lightweight, able to withstand the worst weather conditions, offering the minimum size with the ideal comfort, and simple, fast set-up: these are the qualities that Ferrino wants from its tents. Emperor is the very essence of these qualities and represents the very best that the market has to offer in terms of technology and innovation when it comes to expedition tents.
Emperor is a real super-technological "home" that will protect you in all weather conditions. A tent on the cutting edge, above all due to the fly-sheet which, on account of the W.T.S. (Welded Technical System), has done away with seams and heat-welded seams on the inside. This feature, together with polyurethane lamination, means that the fly-sheet is exceptionally waterproof (10,000 mm/H2O) and it is also able to withstand UV rays.
The frame is comprised of poles in duraluminium, derived from aeronautical technology; it is self-supporting and shock-corded using radial joints, which improve the strength of the entire frame and also make setting up easier, even in extreme weather conditions. What is more, to make set-up even faster, the inner tent is overhung on the poles using snap-on hooks.
Although this is a tent for one, the Emperor offers ideal comfort and the vestibule, which is 50 cm deep, guarantees sufficient storage space for both a backpack and other gear. The entrance door opens fully and can be stored in a special pocket: it also has a front window in polyurethane that is able to withstand thermal movement and UV rays.
Emperor also comes complete with accessories: storage pockets inside, lamp hook, reflective Fast Adjustment guy lines, and a repair kit for fabric and poles. It also has a storage bag that is similar to the ones used for climbing ropes.
