Dolomite presents the Cougar range representing the new cutting edge of mountaineering. A range of models with a precise wraparound fit and excellent grip offering an overall level of comfort that
was once considered impossible at this level of performance. The DAS system in Cougar has resulted in an unprecedented combination of performance, precision, safety and comfort for this type of use.

WRAPAROUND FIT
The truly anatomical last of Cougar models ensures an extraordinarily close fit; foot and upper become one to ensure precision and utmost control of every footstrike.

INSIDE LACING SYSTEM
An innovative combined fastening system fully retains the foot with full wraparound. The internal fastening acts first on the foot and then on the upper through a system of wraparound straps, whereas the
external fastening helps closure in the shin-bone area to give the greatest stability.

LIGHTWEIGHT
Weighting 9% less than average for the category means noticeably less fatigue: Cougar offers outstanding performance and is ideal for wearing all day without weighting down the outdoor activity.

GRIP
With their new special heel and tread design Cougar models ensure maximum safety and adherence to the ground especially in difficult descents.

Dolomite and Vibram® have designed the Back Bone Base sole system offering utmost comfort, safety, grip and long life whatever the situation or weather. The particular design of the sole and its tread has been inspired by the vertebrae of our spine, with the intention of obtaining a perfect balance between stability and flexibility in movement.


DAS - Dolomite Anatomic System is the design system that is used in making all the new Dolomite Outdoor footwear.
Drawing on decades of experience in the specific footwear sector and helped by a dedicated team who continually test design ideas in the field, Dolomite R&D has created an engineered design system based on the anatomy of the human foot to achieve constructional solutions that guarantee hitherto unknown levels of comfort in outdoor activities.
