Terrex is widely recognized for the durability and adaptability of its products and the Swift R2 GTX is no exception, with a ripstop mesh upper specially designed to keep your foot safe thanks to the delightful interaction between TPU reinforcements and a molded TPU toecap. As its name suggests, this particular R2 edition bears a GORE-TEX® layer that gives it an impressive amount of waterproofing. Putting on these shoes is faster and easier than ever thanks to the Lace Bungee, which automatically fastens cables just by touching a button and pulling the safety device around them.
In the sole unit, the legendary Traxion outsole, made of Continental™ compound rubber, provides phenomenal grip on steep terrain no matter how wet or difficult to get through. Thanks to a lightweight, soft EVA midsole, cushioning is of paramount importance in the Swift R2 GTX, providing greater comfort when speeding through complex terrain and climbing angled hills.
Extend your limits above tree line. These mens lightweight hiking shoes are at home in alpine terrain. A low-cut, durable upper with speed lacing supports your feet on uneven ground, while a Continental Rubber outsole sticks to wet and dry terrain. A Breathable GORE-TEX®® membrane keeps your feet dry every step of the way.

After trying several brands of this type of shoe, I really liked that Adidas has models of this type. Very good sole with good grip. Waterproof with GoreTex which is a guarantee. At first the shoes are a little hard, but little by little they are molded at the foot, lacing system similar to other brands, which I liked.
