When the cold of the mountain becomes extreme, you need the best protection you can get. You need the adidas Varilite Down insulated jacket. This version of adidas’ renowned Varilite increases the protection offered by its Conextbaffles tech to combat even the harshest weather.
This jacket’s synthetic down chambers take advantage of its seamless design to add more filler material in a new arrangement, retaining heat and protecting you effectively from cold and rain thanks to its DWR outer layer. A high collar blends with a full-zip closure with protective flap to insulate you completely from the cold and offer several adjustment options.
Side pockets with headphone routers allow you to keep your hands warm or wear your electronics without exposing them to the freeze. A strip on the Varilite Down’s inner lining allows you to easily hang it up anywhere.
Pack light and stay warm. This down-filled jacket offers four-season versatility. The slim-fitting jacket has a no-stitch baffle design that enhances water repellency and wind protection.

This jacket is really warm to wear without layering upto minus 7-8 degrees Celcius. When the temperature hits over minus 10 degrees Celcius then you feel on your skin a little bit of coldness but still not that cold. Definitely this jacket can make you comfortable in really cold situation and at the same time not making you feel too hot during warmer temperature.

Best regard. The jacket is really comfortable and light, but it´s not like it covers low temperatures, I couldn´t tell you how many degrees or so, but it´s light and covers the cold well, but nothing extreme.
