Nice sturdy shoe with good grip and great to be able to alternate with

This shoe feels wonderfully sturdy and solid. the room for the toes is also good. The grip is not as extreme as the Olympus 5, but also very good. Certainly no regrets. What is special is that I fit well in this shoe, while the Olympus 5 is too small for me.

Need a little bit of breaking in, they feel little off at first, probably due to all weather construction. Have yet to test the "all-weatherness".

Very good shoes but, 3 things did not last as well as I'd hoped. 1) Any initial water resistance gone after about a month of use in wet conditions. 2) The outer layer of fabric split at the base of the big toe on both shoes after about 300 km (just behind reinforce toe protection). 3) The lining fabric detached inside the heel of the shoe after about 350 km. Still a good shoe but, could be toughened up a bit...I did batter them.

The sensations are excellent for me, even if I would stay on the Superior for my short outings or in dry weather. I was still surprised by the sound of the All WTHRs. Attacking the point, I hear with each stride a sound of rubber coming from the waterproof material on the top of the foot. This is probably a detail for the most part, but if like me you like to run as quietly as possible and listen to the natural sounds around you, you may be slightly disappointed. Apart from that all promises are kept, excellent grip on the ground, the Toe Box still as pleasant, perfectly waterproof and just as pleasant for running as for walking. They are heavier than indicated on the site.
