very good product that I use in ski mountaineering to store 40 meters of dyneema rope for quick access when I need to secure a passage (jump in a corridor, crossing a glacier, abseiling) but also in canyons to store my safety rope (it still missing a clip at the bottom of the bag for this use). Test in mountaineering for rappels in complicated conditions (strong wind, presence of people below, many jumps with unstable stones, ...) it allows you to descend with the ropes kited in the bag instead of having them on your shoulders but adds weight to carry. the test is quite conclusive. Product quality OK Always excellent value for money with trekkinn

ordering also 7L no metal magnetic parts stiff locking keeps 30 meters of 9mm rope in ready to use nice self attaching to harness/anchor with no carabiner/webbing need now im fan of beal

Convenient to be attached to the backpack with one touch. Because it is a mesh, it is easy to dry even if it gets wet in the rain. It is good to be able to open and close the entrance with a single touch, but it seems to be difficult to repair if the bracket breaks.

It is excellent for use on glaciers with a 7.5-40m rope

I use it with a 6 mm rescue rope for 30mt and it can also contain the Petzl Rad System rescue kit. I would say that 40 meters of 8mm cord can hold them.

I use it with an 8mm 30m rope, but it fits perfectly. It´s easy to use because there are 2 places to put in and take out.
