A separate issue to shape the rubber sole. It's very tight and I still don't know whether to do it with boiling water or a heat gun. There is no instruction to do it either; I should bring it.

Ask for a larger size because the rubber is difficult to stretch for a normal shoe, if it is for a ski boot even more.

Bought xxxl to shoe size 44. A little trick in mounting it. Twist the tip through the hole and mount the heel first. Use a powerful force and turn the tip into place. Glue on the tip with Aquashore glue. Super gaming, getting a little felt for insulation inside too.
Very solid, a little heavy and almost waterproof ...

Gaiters that fit the shape of the shoe well but need to be scalded before fitting to properly relax the rubber borders (see the tutorials well done on google video). Otherwise they do the job, are fairly waterproof but end up inexorably taking on the humidity of the snow after several hours. The GoreTex is a little waterproof on the outside but has its limits, it is not 100% waterproof. The internal humidity of the gaiters is also formed by human heat and does not have time to evacuate, the calf part quickly becomes wet in turn. In short, we cannot ask a textile to wick away sweat and at the same time be waterproof from the outside as the manufacturers of Goretex make us believe. ;-)

Very pleased with my Yeti gamas. The rubber cap at the bottom tends to slide over the tip of the skirt. I solved this by glueing the rubber skirt to the skirt with fellelim and leaving the gamas permanently on the skate. The shoe is protected by gamas and does not need to be lubricated. Always warm on your legs. Works great at nightlife in the winter as well. At short excursions from the tent, you only jump into the boot and pull the zipper on the gamas and labs again. Get rid of gamas and shoes by opening the zipper when you come in again. Recommended. Sigurd Eide

Gore-tex and a torch! Finally, they did, at least in breeches dive in the shoe, keeping water and sit at the foot of marvelous, while walking not roll down and the shoe does not peel off. There is still one problem - hard to put on his leg.

Have leggings ordered in XXXL, ie for shoe size 47+. The Gamschen are much too small and fit max for mountain boots of size 40 and larger.
