The Mercury Mitts pack the warmth and weather protection to handle anything from two-foot storm days in the Wasatch to brutally cold alpine climbs in the Alaska Range. A fully waterproof BDry inserts block any moisture that Mother Nature throws your way, and the durable goat leather palms ensures long-term durability and performance. The Mercury Mitts removable split-finger liners features PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation on the backs of the hand and high-loft fleece on the palms, so you get the warmth you need for the season’s coldest days and still keep the dexterity required for climbing and skiing.

- Removable liner with 100% waterproof BDry insert

- Lightweight woven nylon, abrasion-resistant shell with 4-way stretch

- Removable liner with 340 g PrimaLoft® Gold and high-loft fleece

- Goat leather palm, plus palm patch with Kevlar stitching

- Liner has trigger finger

Really warm gloves. They kept me warm at -20! Do not use with undergloves beacuse it make them less functional. I did not expect the index finger separation inside the middle, I guess it's for a better dexterity. Occasionally I would move the index in the bigger compartment to keep all the fingers together and warmer. Overall very satisfied with the item.

As I have only just received my mittens along with a pair I bought for my husband and they seem to be really well made and I hope they will be really warm for our trip to Alaska. I cannot give them a 5 yet because I haven't tried them in the cold yet. The sizing is correct as per the size chart. The only thing I would like to mention is that if you have very wide hands, the wrist section of the glove is very snug to get into initially. The only negative actually is that it took about a month for me to get them as the shipping was so slow.
