I am 169cm tall, 64kg, fairly athletic, but not muscular. Most trousers, especially jeans are usually too long and typically tight at the thighs while falling off from my waist. This one is the right length for my size 30, the waist isn't tight, but works excellently with a belt. It is not a "skinny" jeans by any standard, more like a regular, straight one, you can wear a base layer under it if you need to, the hips-waist area is higher than with normal jeans (this one is for climbing, so it was designed to fit a harness). The water repellent coating works quite fine in rain and if you sit in some water it dries quickly. It is warm, which was the main reason I bought this one. There is no insulation or fleece inside, but the material holds air and heat much better than regular jeans, in 8°C you will still feel warm, especially if you move. It is moderately wind resistant as well (I don't really feel colder when biking in it). The material doesn't feel stretchy, but it is flexible. The only strange feature is the leg pocket, which is super deep, so forget putting a phone or anything not-very-flat there, because it will be at your knees.
