PUMA brings you the new SABRETOOTH PRO CRAMPONS for skis, featuring a stainless steel construction and a strong yet lightweight design with rocker on the front rail to fit modern hiking boots.

Stainless steel resists snowballing and anti rust. It features a horizontal single point ideal for large alpine routes that require technical precision and greater stability.

Includes front and rear dual-density ABS brakes that prevent snow from sticking under the crampons. Combining the precision of a monopoint with the stability and versatility of horizontal frontpoints, the Snaggletooth is the perfect crampon for technical alpine routes in the big mountains.Originally conceived by Black Diamond athlete and metalworker Whit Magro, the Black Diamond Snaggletooth Crampon is a horizontal monopoint designed for big alpine routes where crux mixed pitches demand technical precision, but long approach slopes and snowy summit ridges require increased stability. A small secondary frontpoint offers additional stability and bite on both steep ice and low-angle neve. The Snaggletooth’s stainless steel construction features a strong yet lightweight design with rocker in the front rail to accommodate modern mountain boots.

Excellent automatic cats made of stainless steel, when compared with similar products, they are slightly inferior in weight, although not critical. Cats come in a cardboard box, in addition to a pair of cats in the kit, additional brackets for the front welts come. If you consider this product for purchase in more detail, then it is worth considering that 4 types of front brackets are issued for these cats - Low, Regular, Narrow and Wide. Cats are equipped with anti-slip made of ABS plastic. Cats have factory grinding only on the front teeth. Note!!!! In the pictures presented in the description of this product there are photos that depict cats with a front soft mount - there is NO this mount in the kit, because it involves a different design of the front of the cats.

Great product as usual from Black Diamond! Great Price too! Automatic crampons can be a little finicky with various boots, but these seem to fit my Lowa Mountain expert boots well.
