This time BLACK DIAMOND presents the new STORMLINE STRETCH RAIN mountaineering jacket, it is ideal for winter days as it provides greater impermeability, breathability and wind resistance, providing the necessary protection.
It presents a regular design with adjustable velcro cuffs. It features a flat seam construction for comfort. Features a fully laminated full front zipper.
It has an internally lined hood with a reinforced edge for greater visibility. To protect your hands, it has two side pockets with zippers. Its bottom hem is adjustable with an elastic drawstring. It has reinforced underarms for greater durability.
Built to take on the worst downpours, the StormLine Stretch Rain Shell is our fully featured rain shell. By combining our BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable/windproof technology with a full feature set and stretch fabric, the StormLine provides reliable protection when the weather breaks.

Exactly what i was looking for. A great lightweight jacket that provides good protection when a technical hardshell isn't required and has enough room to layer up underneath.
Essential in the mountains

This garment always accompanies me on my alpine outings. In the mountains it is always recommended to wear a windbreaker in case there is rain or cold air. I've been wearing it all summer as a top layer, and I love its breathability and insulation. In winter it will not fail in my backpack (in addition to the pens) in case a storm catches me. The entire garment is folded in its right pocket, so it is stored in the backpack taking up little space and compactly. The hood is wide, to wear with another hood, cap or helmet. The zippers are well built, and it has straps at the waist and hood to be able to tighten them. The sleeves are adjusted with a velcro that compresses very well, according to the size of our wrist. In short, an essential garment that can get you out of more than one hurry, well built, light and that has the quality of Black diamond.

Very lightweight, definetely waterproof for now, big enough hoodie for helmet. The lenght of sleeves are perfect but, very narrow chest and shoulder. Not a big deal but feels odd. Size small, 175cm and 67kg.

A light jacket looks good quality and the fact that it becomes a small bag is a plus. I am 1.93, weight 95 kg, athletic build and I bought a size XL and it suits me perfectly ... in case it's any reference to someone
