Product description Boreal Flayers Vent Hiking Shoes

The Flyers Vent is a very lightweight technical approach shoe with a cool and highly breathable synthetic textile upper. Clip them to your harness on Sunday and wear them to office on Monday.

Flyers Vent has a slightly closer fit than our regular approach shoes with an extended rock shoe like lace closure for a really precise fit and great control. The upper is made from a synthetic textile which is very lightweight and extremely breathable with superb stay-cool comfort in warmer weather. The outsole of Flyers Vent is made from Zenith Dura which is a special harder wearing version of a famous rock shoe rubber and offers brilliant grip on rock surfaces whilst retaining good durability.

Unlike lesser approach shoes Flyers vent has a board lasted construction with a full length midsole for excellent underfoot support on rough ground. The bulk of the underfoot cushioning is placed above the midsole with the rubber outsole mounted underneath. This construction massively reduces the amount of edge deflection around the foot, a huge advantage when climbing.

- SOLE: Boreal Approach rubber outsole with Zenith Dura approach formula for superior friction. PU rand
- LINING: PU Air Net for ventilation and comfort
- USAGE: Technical approach and easy climbs. Paths, trails and off-road. Street use
- MIDSOLE: Boreal PXF with shock absorbing EVA layer for comfort
