Redmond III Mid Waterproof is a Columbia men´s hiking shoe that has a mid-cut boot to protect your ankle. The construction includes synthetic leather that provide the protection you need on your feet and keep your feet comfortable during the journey.
The Columbia sports shoes for mountaineering includes an upper mesh that allows air to pass through to keep your feet dry and cool. Additionally, its cushioning system includes a Techlite midsole that provides support in each step.
The sports shoe has a molded toe box that allows greater comfort on the tip of the feet, allowing to stretch the toes. The traction sole incorporates Omnigrip technology that keeps you stable and prevents you from skidding on the trail. I was looking for a cool weather waterproof hiking boot to use for easy trail hiking through the woods. These are perfect and have now become my go to all year bad weather shoes. Anytime there is bad weather and I need grip, protection and don't want my feet to get wet, I go to these shoes. They are light weight, water PROOF up to ankle (tested thoroughly), and easy to slip on without lacing and tying every time (I do use a shoe horn to make it easier). They are somewhat rigid and make my feet feel well protected too. I am currently looking for a high top version to use in deeper snow. Very well built and I will recommend to any friend looking for this type of footwear.

I bought these Columbia, because I needed multi-purpose boots for trekking, but above all to use them in mountain bikes and I must say that I hit the target. The advantages of these boots are comfort, they are warm enough in winter, they are fairly waterproof, they have a sole with a fantastic grip, both walking and pedaling and they are also aesthetically beautiful. In addition, the sole is stiff enough so that no tingling occurs in the toes, even after several hours spent pedaling. The only negative point in the practice of mountain biking is that if the sole is wet, sometimes it tends to escape on the pins of the flat pedals, but once the right position is found, then they no longer move. On the other hand, they are perfect for trekking, both on dry ground and on wet rocks, they always have excellent grip. Finally, I would like to commend the trekkINN logistics service for the speed with which they processed my order.

Great shoes, had some problems finding the right size and even using the chart given I still needed to return the shoes and get another size two times until I found the right one. I usually wear 42 EU show size but in these the correct size is 43! The chart gave me 44 in size the first time (too big) and my usual size (42) was too small. I finally set for 43 and they are perfect!

I bought a size 44 and for the length of my foot (28.5 cm) it is fine leaving the right space at the tip of about 1 cm. the fit of the shoe is comfortable with a non-adherent sole. robust upper materials and breathable mesh. very valid.
