The comfort provided by Silver Ridge II Convertible Pants Long is unmatched. The model designed by the Columbia brand is made of 100% nylon, fabric with which you will achieve freedom in your movements.
These men´s hiking pants have a straight structure. Its main advantage is that they have a zipper that allows them to be turned into shorts with a length of 10 inches. The structure of the shorts has partial elastic at the waist to achieve the proper fit to your body. The sports accessory has a security pocket to protect your personal items of small size.
One of the technologies present in the piece is Omni-Wick, high-performance hydro-absorbent fabric that removes moisture and in turn favors the rapid elimination of perspiration due to its advanced evaporation. In addition, it has Omni-Shade, an element that prevents the effects of UVA and UVB rays as well as long-term burns.
When youre working hard on those trails in changing weather, you need a pair of trousers that can quickly transform into shorts and back again. These are convertible trousers designed with adventure in mind: vented, with built-in UPF 50 sun protection, and made of Ripstop nylon to withstand tumbles and let you keep on trucking.

Very practical pants that occupies and weighs little, we have used them for a 1-year trip to Asia and it has been great. If it's cold you put some leggings underneath and that's it, they dry very quickly.

Columbia silver ridge are good summer pants. Not super rigid but does the job on hot climate and dryers quickly. I'm size 33 ( 184 cm, 81 kg) but convertible only has 32, 34 etc. From my experience, 34 is big so went for the 32. A bit tight but much better then the Millet or Lafuma I tried in a store. Shipping was super fast and the price was great.

The Columbia Silver Ridge II convertible pants are practical and comfortable at an affordable price. For 175cm/80Kg I took the US36 L30. It fits very well! It is a little bit wide on the legs, but this might be desirable in hiking or other nature activities. All in all, satisfied with my purchase

It may not be suitable and practical for long sport activities.

very light, comfortable and waterproof fabric. enough room to store things and with the quality of Columbia. Maybe the sizes are very justitas. I was asking for a 32 (42) and now I will buy the same model in 34. I recommend it and another quality to keep in mind that it is removable.
Too tight in the crotch

I have both the older version 1 and newer version 2 pants. The new version 2 is much too tight in the crotch and thighs, so much that it is uncomfortable to sit in and I can't wear it. The older version 1 was looser, a little bit tight, but still ok.
