I feel very comfortable with them, they are firm, made of aluminum. However, when carrying in backpacks with the system on my chest, the tips rub on my arms, this is because the handle is narrow. They are easily carried open in one hand and fold and unfold quickly. The locking system is better than others. I previously had some black diamond distance z and... if it weren't for the locking system I would still stick with the previous ones.
