Satisfied with this fixing. Compared to the original one (retained by elastics) which had to be put back in place after each passage over the bumps, this one does not move and allows the light to be held securely.

Much more stable fixing system compared to the original supplied version. Pay attention to the diameter of the seat tube though. On my Emonda 2021 trek the system does not mount. Required to fix it below the saddle mast which is the correct diameter.

If you have a round seat tube this stem is definitely the best (official Garmin) alternative to the stock data bindings with the Varia. The collar is well built and is fixed with a screw and not with the rubber bands (found in the Varia package): certainly much more robust and resistant to vibrations. honest

This is a secure fit for the varia lamp. I ordered it for my second bike, but it actually feels more solid compared to the original seat mount. I don understand why Garmin doesn't provide this as the standard mount. I might buy another one to have a secure solution on both bikes. Be aware this mount only works with round seatposts!

For round seatposts it is the perfect and safe grip that a machine of almost € 200 needs, much easier to put on and take off the Varia -even with one hand-. As a less positive part, it is much more voluminous than the original support and if you cannot place it right on the seat post clamp (be careful not to interfere with the Varia with the wheel) it is not the most aesthetic in the world ...

Hi, it is perfectly compatible with the Varia RTL 515. NB you must have a circular section seat tube otherwise it will not adapt to other shapes such as the giant seat post. According to the brand, it is compatible with: Radar trasero para bicicletas Varia™, Varia™ RTL510, Varia™ RTL515, Varia™ RVR315. Greetings

I don´t think so, in the description it says; Compatible with round seat posts from 27.0 mm to 31.6 mm in diameter. Compatibility on the manufacturer´s website is the same.

Yes, it’s a universal fit. In my case it’s fitted to a carbon seat post with a diameter of 27mm and a seat tube angle of 73.5 degrees. The Garmin support when installed on the bike is exactly vertical to the road.
