It has a full front zip with a chin guard that provides great protection from the wind. It has two open pockets for the hands. It has elastic sleeves and a bottom hem for a better fit and comfort.

This jacket provides great warmth at a very low weight, thanks to its extremely light and durable fabric and the premium 800 CUIN fillpower goose down it´s filled with.

It´s been treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR so well that the filling stays dry for up to 10 000 minutes of exposure to wet conditions.

Fits beautifully, is comfortable, and packs down very small.

FLOURCARBONFREE.

The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical.

Irrespective of the ‘active ingredient´, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates.

The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time.

In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.

Tumble dry, normal, low heat.

Wash with similar colours.

Slow spin for a long time for easier drying.

Tumble dry garment with 3 tennis balls, for a minimum of 4 hours. If necessary, separate the down by hand when the garment is dry.
