Product description Haglöfs Rugged Mountain Pants
Haglofs Rugged Mountain Pants are prepared for adventure and exploration inside the mountains since they have resistant, elastic, and waterproof materials that facilitate movements and protection, even in climbing.
These trekking pants have been made with polyamide, which is very abrasion-resistant and cool, with elastic panels on the knees and the back, where they used to wear more. Besides, they include a DWR treatment that resists light rain. The design includes button and zipper closure, loops on the waist and Velcro straps for a custom fit, straps with plastic closure in the hem, three pockets with zippers and two open pockets for hands, and a straight cut that provides freedom of movement.
FLOURCARBONFREE The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical. Irrespective of the active ingredient, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates. The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time. In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.

- Machine wash 40º C, Normal process.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry, Normal, Low heat.
- Iron, Slow. Do not dry clean.
- Wash with similar colours.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Wash with zippers and hook and loop fastener closed.

They are great pants, I gave them to my husband and he was very happy. It is a bit difficult to make a size choice online from another country; however, the size charts are exact.

Good quality pant. On my third set of them. Very robust and durable. Not the most quiet pant if your using it for hunting. Also sizing is a bit tricky. I'm 5' 10" and 185 lbs with an athletic build. Large is too big in the waist, but decent fit in legs. Medium is quite tight in legs. But waist is good. I went with large for layering options when its cold out.

the second time I buy these pants. what to say? perfect. they are described as spring summer but I also use them well for high mountain winter excursions. excellent openings on the thighs.

The quality cannot be beaten, I have had a pair for over a year now in the UK and they are great for outdoor use as well as everyday ware. I just bought this pair to change the colour so it fits in with the outdoors when walking or watching the wildlife.

Very good outdoor pants, it seems rigid and warm for winter. It does the job! In the Breton rain, I just tested it, it is very effective. Just a negative point, as it is a pity that from now on even the know-how of the Swedish brand is made in Vietnam. I would prefer to pay more for Swedish labor. Globalization requires ??
