Ideal for outdoor activities such as mountain hiking . The new SKUTA MID PROOF ECO boots are made of strong and durable materials that guarantee a longer useful life for the shoe.
Its PROOF ECO fabric makes it repellent to water and dirt. It has a molded EVA midsole that provides the athlete with greater cushioning and comfort. The toe, heel and tongue areas are reinforced to offer greater comfort, protection and freshness. The outsole features a smart design that provides greater traction and balance with every step.

This is a supportive and tough trekking shoe with a wide forefoot fit for extra comfort.
Upper protection and AHAR+ rubber on outsole adds to the durability.
It´s completely fluorocarbon free, down to the waterproof PROOF™ ECO.

FLOURCARBONFREE.
The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical.
Irrespective of the ‘active ingredient´, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates.
The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time.
In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.

Moulded EVA midsole gives good cushioning and comfort.
Premium leather from a tannery audited by the Leather Working Group.

Engineered patterned outsole provides high traction and stability.
AHAR™ Plus (ASICS® High Abrasion Resistance Rubber) on the outsole heel adds durability.
Suede reinforced toe and heel give increased protection and durability.
Tongue gusset prevents water and sand from entering the shoe.
Waterproof flex test:100 000 steps.

FABRICS:Washing instructions:Cleaning:Prepare the footwear by removing surface dirt such as mud and grit.
When cleaning Haglöfs footwear, it is important to use a soft sponge under clean lukewarm running water.
Dry the footwear off with a clean cloth or rag at a natural temperature.
Do not use the aid of an external heat source or direct sunlight.
Direct heat may alter the shape of the shoe.
Footwear should never be cleaned in a washing machine.
For best comfort and foot climate, also clean the inside of the footwear now and then using a soft brush and lukewarm water.
Remove the footbed before washing.
To speed up drying, fill each boot or shoe with newspaper and let the paper absorb the majority of the moisture before removing it to allow the footwear to finish drying.
Regardless of whether you clean the inside or outside, make sure your footwear dries at room temperature, never with the aid of a heater or drying cabinet (excessive heat may for instance cause the leather to crack).
Cleaned footwear is best stored at room temperature using a shoe tree.
Never store dirty shoes.
Before first use, treat boots and shoes with waterproofing, including the laces and tongue.
After drying, brush Nubuck and suede products with a suede brush to regain that buffed look.
A suede brush can also be used for lighter cleaning.
Treat the cleaned surfaces of boots and shoes regularly with waterproofing.
Some agents are best applied to the surface while it is still a little damp and the leather pores are open so that the waterproofing is able to penetrate in depth (follow the instructions on the packaging).
It is advantageous to treat Nubuck and suede boots and shoes with wax for extra protection against moisture and wear

I wear ADIDAS 43 and I bought size 44 2/3 and it is a little big on me, I recommend that you order 1/2 size smaller. Even so, the design and comfort is excellent. Totally recommended.

This is my first pair of Haglofs footwear and I've not been disappointed! They are a complete deviation from my normal style and are very pleasing to the eye, making them a more all round boot that looks just as good on the high street as in the woods! They are light and comfy with great grip from the sole! My only caveat is I might go another 1/2 or whole size bigger if ordering again but I haven't fully worn them in yet so we'll see!

They went straight out of the box for the first walk. They did 16km in Lousã, Portugal, the route of the 4 magical villages! Excellent grip and comfort. They always conveyed confidence in every step, on rough terrain, with steep slopes, no rain, lots of gravel (stone) and slate. They hit a lot but they didn't lose any quality or any wear on the materials. However, they have already done 2 more similar walks and proved what they already knew. Would buy again!

An amazing product, on the positive side. The boots provide a comfortable walk with excellent traction. I didn't know the brand, but I got the feeling that it is very well built and of high quality standards. I recommend. Just need to know the shoes. The boots I had, of another brand, went to the shelf.

Very good shoe. Barely out of the box, hike about 30 kms and no surprises. Cushioning, support... it's all there. Just one downside, on very muddy/oily ground, the sole/grip quickly shows its limits but nothing harmful. In short, only positive.

I purchased the Haglöfs Skuta Mid Proof Eco Hiking Boots for a hiking weekend with the understanding that the product would be delivered within 48 hours. Unfortunately, I only received the product after 7 days! Two positives i). Haglofs are a decent product but I am yet to try the product and ii). The only reason I would keep the shoe rather than return it is due to the fact that Trekinn price was cheapest online.

Great pair of boots - look good, surprisingly lightweight materials, good fit and comfortable for prolonged use straight out of the box - should be even better after a few miles wearing in. Haven't tried a wet walk yet, but remain optimistic. My only question is over long term durability of the eco-materials, but only time will tell that. In the short term, at least, very satisfied.

Quality boots, flexible from the box and surprisingly light. Very happy with them. The price was the lowest I could find and I have ordered from Trekkinn before, so was not put off by the poor reviews I have seen. Delivery did take a while longer than some other suppliers but when I queried my order customer services responded promptly and soon after I recieved a shipping link, where I could follow the journey of my boots. As others have posted, you will probably need to order half or one size bigger than usual. I found a good sizing tool where you could enter your size in other manufacturers footwear and get your Haglofs size. I would recommend these boots and Trekkinn, as long as you are not in a mad rush for the product.

having ,read some poor feedback i had some concerns about my purchase. i didn’t get an email confirmation of my order from trekkinn which exacerbated my concerns. however i soon got regular delivery notifications and my great boots were delivered 7 days after i placed my order, and at a great price. i have not had to deal with customer service, so con’t comment on issues, but for me the service was good and better initial email purchase confirmation would be my only gripe.

I took a punt on these boots after checking out reviews, plus I'd recently purchased some Haglöfs trousers which are so well made. I took them on their first hike yesterday in a huge storm for several hours and through muddy trails, my socks were pretty much dry which was a pleasant surprise :)

Great boots. Use them every day for walking dog over rough terrain. Probably the most comfortable boots I’ve had. Buying from trekkinn was 33% cheaper than other sites. Only negative was I paid for 3 day delivery and it took 5 days to arrive so should have stuck with standard delivery
