Very nice indeed

My last shell jacket prematurely died (the lining wore out after six months) but luckily the manufacturer just refunded me in full - so I looked for a decent brand (had a Haglofs jacket in the past - lost it!) and checked out the range. The Talos kept ticking boxes and the Trekkinn discount was pretty impressive so I measured myself up and was a little surprised to come out as "large" being 173cm tall but rather athletic in shape - 105cm chest, 76cm waist. My old, much cheaper Haglofs jacket was a Small and was still quite large!! Took the risk and ordered it but was worried it would be way too long. A nervous few days wait and it arrived today - the arms are a tiny bit long (more protection; I also have long arms for my height; maybe I'm a bit too close to a primate....!) but the body length is perfect and the fit is otherwise perfect. It's a beautifully finished item with loads of little extras and it's a proper "shell" - again I was a little worried it might be too thick but it weighs very little and is totally package. It also looks very smart. Hopefully this will last well but for anyone wanting a high end shell who is quite "athletic" in shape, get this but check the size chart carefully first!
