HAGLOFS brings you this time the new V SERIES MIMIC jacket , designed for cold climates in the mountains. Thanks to its synthetic insulation and the combination of fabrics it offers excellent insulation and in turn humidity control.

Internally it is lined with a highly breathable fabric to keep you cool at all times. Its surfaces are water and dirt repellent.

It is an extremely light jacket that provides great warmth and comfort. It has two side pockets and a chest pocket all with zippers. It features a full front zipper with a very comfortable chin guard. Our V series Mimic Hood is filled with Mimic Platinum, a high performance synthetic insulation.

It also contains graphene to conduct your body heat and spread it throughout the garment.

It´s lined with a breathable fabric with superb moisture management properties.

The surface is wind and water resistent and treated with a fluorocarbon free DWR to repel water and dirt.

This combination enhances wearing comfort and gives the best warmth to weight - making this jacket ideal for cold mountain activities.

The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical.

Irrespective of the ‘active ingredient´, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates.

The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time.

In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.

Washing instructions:Machine wash 30, mild process.

Do not bleach.

Tumble dry, normal, low heat.

Iron on low setting.

Do not dry clean:wash with zippers and hook and loop fastener closed.

Do not use fabric softener.

We recommend using soap-free detergent, half dosage.

Wash with similar colours.

Slow spin for a long time for easier drying.

Tumble dry garment with 3 tennis balls, until completely dry.

Separate the loose fiber filling by hand to restore loftiness when the garment is dry.
