I bought this product to use with a Sawyer Mini drinking water filter. I had read that the thread of this bottle is compatible but in reality it does not close perfectly. However it does an acceptable job. If you do not need it for this use, it is very convenient because it compresses and has a ring with which to keep it folded and attach it to the backpack with a carabiner.

I needed something for going alpine climbing. This bottle molds easily in overpacked bacpack even when full and thake very little space when empty, this is just what I was searching for. I have to complement also that the material doesn't leave any wierd smell or taste, which is a huge plus!
