 DETAILSTuria BR Coolmax by Jeanstrack is made with a very elastic fabric made of cotton, Polyester Coolmax® and Lycra®.

The cotton provides a pleasant touch and freshness.

The Coolmax® polyester makes the pants more resistant and breathable, favoring the evaporation of sweat.

Lycra®, as an elastic fiber, guarantees both high elasticity and recovery.

This short version keeps all the original features of the Turia but is designed for situations in which you prefer to wear shorts.

 LYCRALYCRA® is a synthetic elastane fibre that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state, over and over again.

It was invented by Joseph Shivers, a chemist who worked at North American company DuPont in 1959 and patented it that same year, giving it the trade name LYCRA®.

When introduced for the first time, elastane revolutionised many areas of the textile industry.

Elastane has been commercialised in the textile sector since its invention, under the trade names NUMA®, UNEI®, DORLASTAN® and LYCRA®, among others.

The LYCRA fibre is now the property of the company Invista.

It isn´t a fabric, but rather one of the fibres that comprise a fabric.

Its properties are to provide elasticity and a higher quality than other elastanes.

This material works as a continuous filament as it can be either a monofilament or multi-filament.

It is a polyester fiber with specific characteristics that give special properties to the fabrics produced with it.

Therefore it is widely used in those garments that are directly in contact with the skin.

Although its use is not directly related to the protection against cold is a great advantage in the fight of an athlete against cooling to get a quick drying of the fabric.

The Coolmax® confers lightness, flexibility, comfort, breathability and quick drying.

Its use avoids the annoying wet sensation, as well as the possible appearance of blisters or chafing.

Care of Coolmax®:The Coolmax® fabric is very easy to care because these products can be machine washed and placed in the dryer.

In any case, in few occasions you will need the dryer since practically drying is automatic after the washing machine.

However, some Coolmax® models require special care due to their design (not the material), so it is always recommended to look at the label of washing instructions.
