I am on my second Ultra Raptor pair and am still very happy with the product. The 1st pair a little over 1500km run with them and I always use them for outings. This second pair like the first is perfectly adjusted with 1/2 more than my size.

Incredible running shoes for the Mountain and Alpine hiking. Great cushioning and grip of the sole, in practically all types of terrain, including wet stone (up to a certain limit). Wrap-around and very protective shoe (see reinforced tip and heel protection), exceptional grip on any terrain I have experienced. They miss the classic fatigue mistakes of the longer marathons. It is also great for mountain walks as well as for racing. On the asphalt they have a little rigid answer, but obviously they are not their environment, but I would not recommend them to those who are used to the elastic / soft shoes in the ground response. Very durable over time.

I had a chance to try these shoes at a shoe fair but they had no size for me (47!). But I could sense from than that they feel perfect in your feet so I ordered them online. Now after running a while in them I can vouch that they are just perfect! You feel in them like in a comfortable, cosy wrapped up system which is going to take care of your feet for many many miles. I also have flat foot so after I tried Bushido and Mutant from La Sportiva, without success, Ultra Raptor seem to be very good with my issue. Looking forward for a trail marathon I have in two weeks and if my feet and heath go well, I plan to do my first ultra in a year in these shoes. Well done La Sportiva!
