i already know of lafuma sleeping bag because my ex was lucky enough to come across them in a store in canada. they are the only truly compact and lightweight sleeping bag i know of. i just purchased the active 10, and it comes in a compression sack (what a wonderful perk) and packs down to the size of maybe a football. i am grateful and impressed by how light and compact it is. some trekkinn reviews seemed sketchy but i had zero issues with this site. i purchased online, they charged my card, and i received an email confirming my order and shipment. yes, it did take almost a month to receive, but it was going via their post (registered, so has to be signed every step of the way - but i feel it is more secure this way), and once it arrived in the united states, it continued via usps which is the part that made me nervous. i tracked it online, and managed to call my local post office and she just happened to grab it before it went on the delivery truck, so i was able to pick it up in person at the post office (saving me the hassle of having ,to sit at home all day waiting for them to show up for me to sign for it.) now i wish i bought two at the same time!! i originally bought it for my 5 year old son, because all the child (and adult actually) sleeping bags on the market are very bulky, very heavy, and not compressible. we backpack camp so lightweight and compact is essential. even though the hassle of usps is a headache, i think i will now purchase a second one for myself - i own a down sleeping bag from mec and it does pack down but the lafuma active 10 is about 1/3 of the size! thank you trekkinn and please don't ever stop carrying lafuma!!!!
