Micro Trail Pro
The Micro Trail Pro is made for all trail runners who want to traverse demanding terrain and have the best equipment to do so. This light, 195 g carbon folding pole is equipped with the Trigger Shark 2.0 System and newly designed Shark Frame Strap Mesh. The strap is made from highly breathable mesh material with optimised close fit and is wider, while encompassing your hand securely. The Thermo grip extension ensures even more comfort and flexibility on steep terrain. You will always have flexibility on steep terrain thanks to the natural cork grip with extension. The Push Button lets you fold together the Micro Trail to a packing size of 37 cm in the blink of an eye. Time to go, the mountain is calling.

I hadn't tried racing with them before, and it was a very satisfying change. You can feel the difference it makes, especially on the very steep climbs. It gets complicated on the descents, when the races or routes are short. Recommended for distances greater than 21K or technical races that warrant it. Very happy with the purchase.

These poles are quick and easy to tuck into your belt, which is important on the ultra-trail. I did a 106km ultratrail with a lot of climb with these poles and was happy with this piece of equipment. Bought these as an an Ultralight upgrade from my leki Carbon vario. I've used them for over a hundred miles so far and they are as good as new. The shark grip increases trail efficiency as your hands are able to detach and from the pole quickly and attach quickly without effort. The glove is comfortable and the attachment loop is holding up better than I expected. The long Cork handle is a plus point, when the Elevation becomes very steep or when I am on a narrow cut trail that has higher sides. The bright small basket helps with awareness when planting the pole in low light or night hiking/running. Whilst racing, it helps with safety for runners behind or when passing. The lock on the poles is effortless and secure. The weight saving itself is a worthy reason and you know with Leki, you are getting the best. Not cheat sticks... Win Sticks! Excellent speedy service from trekkin as usual.

I have not yet been able to use them off-road, but when unpacking you immediately notice that the sticks are of good quality. The glove is super, and you can quickly click and release. The long cork grip is useful when climbing, so you can hold the sticks lower. Am myself 1m78 including the trail shoes. Normally come with the 120 cm but have chosen the 125, because you have more room to place your hands. Now again good tests on the terrils and / or Ardennes.
