Do you love sporty trekking and are often on the go? The Micro Vario Carbon, equipped with lots of details, supports you uphill and downhill and helps you save energy. In addition to the anatomically formed AERGON Thermo Long Grip and the super simple Speed Lock 2 Adjustment System comes the newly developed ELD External Locking Device, which ensures more stability and safety on the mountain thanks to its special construction. The pole can be folded together to a pack size of 40 cm at the push of a button and can be stored in any backpack. Weighing in at just 240 g, it is a real all-rounder.

Lightweight, sturdy and easy to use. I'm using LEKI poles for years but these are just piece of art. Very recommend!

having ,bought multiple pairs of poles over the years, these ones definitely stand out. their hybrid tent pole-like and telescopic design combined with top quality carbon and sturdy (and incredibly comfortable) foam grip result in a polyvalent, lightweight and ridiculously packable design. also, compared to other carbon poles plagued with durability issues, these are definitely sturdy (although not as forgiving as a telescoping aluminum design). obviously, you expect top quality at their premium price tag, but i would say they deliver good bang for the buck. they have no significant downside as far as i am concerned, and even though i used to favour cork grip, these foam grips have converted me (surprisingly durable, incredibly confortable, great in hot weather...)
Greatly improved design and structure

Very light but strong, sturdy construction. Much improved locking mechanism from an earlier model of these poles that I bought 6 years ago. The earlier model’s spring-loaded locking pin was prone to collecting dust and sticking in its depressed position meaning the poles could not be locked into their extended position and thus rendering them useless. The current model’s spring-loaded locking pin is encased and operated by an external release lever; a much more appropriate design and structure for such a critical component of a product that is meant for outdoor use.

Everything about these poles is great. So easy to unfold and use and fold back up again. Strap an length adjustment is simple. Removing/installing the baskets is easy. The finish is beautiful... they are a work of art.
