This Womens Merino Light Hiking Sock was designed for long hikes and rugged conditions while still maintaining a warm, comfortable feel. It has light cushioning in the sole to make each step comfortable and help make the sock fit snuggly in a pair of boots.
Made with Merino Wool that provides warmth without overheating the foot. It also wicks away moisture from sweat that builds up over long hikes or activities. Ea. LYCRA® throughout ensures this sock stays up in your boots without slipping down to your toes. Developed specifically for women who need a durable and reliable sock to protect their feet in any condition.

- Merino wool is a finely crimped and soft wool with staples (fibre lengths) that are commonly 65 – 100 mm (2.5 – 4 inches) long and less than 24 microns in diameter. The core of a merino fibre is hydrophilic (water retaining), and is breathable. The fine micron diameter ensures it feels soft and comfortable next to the skin. Merino has the ability to help keep the foot warm in winter and cool in summer.

Excellent socks

On the package: Lorpen light hiker T2 Women`s This is a good technological socks without unnecessary bells and whistles. 37% of natural sheep's wool. Wool surprisingly does not prick and does not itch, even if wrapped around the sock around the neck :) The rug is as terry as a towel, on top of the foot the fabric is thinner. Ankle - weave "elastic", very elastic. On the leg sits perfectly, does not slip and does not squeeze. The height CREW, which the translator interprets as "crew", means that it is a very long sock, the bootleg is a long foot of 3 cm. On the inside of the shaft there is a T2LM marking and an indication of the size of L, which corresponds to 41-43. Keep in mind that the men's socks are the same light hiker with the same T2LM marking, the same L corresponds to 43-46 and to 2 cm in the foot is longer and 5 cm above the female ankle! Along with the golf, I use these socks in ski boots, because I have long thermal underwear-pants. Socks survived washing in a typewriter, but in hot water, but with ordinary powder not for wool and have not changed. Do not shed or color the lingerie. I recommend.
