It is equipped with Base Fit, Mammuts flagship patented footwear technology, and selected high-tech materials including Dropstop textile, Giardini, velours leather, rubber reinforcements and a GORE-TEX®®® Performance Comfort Footwear membrane. The asymmetric 3-zone lacing and good fit ensure personalized comfort and safety. The technical highlight is the newly developed 3-layer wedge made from Poro, PU and TPU.

- This patented Mammut technology delivers exceptional power transfer from the lacing section to the sole. The concept is based on free-sliding bands that are anchored to the insole. This results in enhanced safety and freedom from blisters, since the foot cannot slip around inside the boot.



Velours Leather:



- Velours leather, or suede leather, is obtained by an internal split of the hide/skin. Thanks to its rough surface structure it is highly abrasion resistant and breathable. Depending on the required finish, Velours leather can be waxed, brushed or left untreated.



GORE-TEX®® Performance Comfort Footwear:



- 100% guaranteed waterproof thanks to premium quality high-fitting, sealed, insert socks made of PTFC (PolyTetraFluorCarbone). The Performance version offers excellent breathability with average warming ability.

- The shape and arrangement of the lugs gives this mountaineering and backpacking sole a secure grip on all kinds of terrain. The structured Climbing Zone provides stability on slippery surfaces. Soles can be replaced.
