Excellent boot for the practice of trekking in all its slopes and with all types of weather. I have been testing them for different areas of the Asturian mountains and they respond very well in more technical terrains such as the Picos de Europa mountains, as more wooded, soft and flooded areas. Comfortable boot with wide and resistant last. The buts fall by themselves except, as with all, clean them.

I bought these (looks exact same) very boots maybe 20 years ago and hike in New England USA. Just now starting to fail (one boot toe now separating from boot, flap flap.). Great boot. Hike, heavy work, trail maintenance, 4 seasons. Weight about 2 lbs. each. I'm 79 next week.

Good heavy-duty boots. Have been using them for trekking in Fann Mountains (part of the western Pamir-Alay). Shoes give good support to the ankle as well. Make sure you order the correct size - remember that there should be space for your toes when you are going downhill. Half size up for me was perfect.
