Fitz Roy provides great protection in alpine environments and offers great value for the feature set. It is made of a soft and lightweight 2,5L DRYEDGE ALL WEATHER ripstop fabric construction for increased wear and tear strength. Highly packable design fits easily into your hiking or day pack and delivers great protection against the elements in all your mountains activities. With a waterproof and breathable membrane and complete seam sealing, its the perfect pick for your forest rambles or smaller outings. The Regular Fit prioritizes comfort and the ergonomic pattern design allows freedom of movement. The elastic waistband sits flat under a harness while full side zippers and velcro adjustable cuffs allows to easily and quickly put the pant on over boots and crampons as you are eating up alpine gradients.

Care:
CLOTHING:
- Millet clothing must be machine washed at 30°C, and machine dried using a low-temperature program. To guarantee optimal washing without degrading the product, close up all velcro closures, snap fastenings and zippers, and loosen elastic drawstrings before putting clothing in the machine.
CLOTHING WITH WATERPROOF MATERIALS:
- This is the case particularly for the following materials: Gore-Tex, Polartec Neoshell, Dryedge, Windstopper, Element Shield
- After closing the velcro fastenings, zippers and snap fastenings, wash your product at 30°C with a bit of non-aggressive detergent or a special detergent for waterproof materials. If there is too much detergent left over, run a rinsing program again by itself. Drying should be done in the open air or in a tumble dryer at low temperature.
- It is possible to use a specific product to re-waterproof your product or to give it back water repellency.

The pants are 100% as described. BUT! You´re still surprised that the zippers are not water-protected and the flaps, covering them, have no fixtures - buttons or velcro. Theoretically, side-back wind could squeeze some rain into your leg. As there is no lining some base layer is a must. Otherwise pants are fine - lightweight, good fit (high rise), easily drop-off.

There is nothing wrong with the product in terms of quality. The leg lengths were too long for me and the waistband is a bit tight for my size L.

Haven't tried them yet in heavy rain but the material is a proper goretex that has no problem even in windy situations.

Excellent pants, I used them for some trekking in the rain on a first layer and I had no problem. I even passed under a waterfall and kept dry. I recommend them with closed eyes.

Good pants, impeccable quality, I still do not try it in rain or snow but it denotes a good performance. Thin fabric suitable for trekking or walking with a first layer
