The best rain gear i have ever owned!

i live in seattle and have a german shepard who needs at least 1 hour at the park, every day and my son and daughter are both on rowing teams. i spend a lot of time in the rain... i have bought three different patagonia shells and two duluth rain jackets/shells, over the past 2 years, that´s about 2000 in rain jackets... none of these stood up the the hours of rain that i have to be outside in. i was about to give up and be wet... i read a comparison article online and they said that this jacket was "bullet proof" against the weather. i decided to give it a shot. word of advise: pay for the expedited shipment! it took about 6 weeks for the jacket to get here! worth the wait. i was a downpour the first day i wore it. not a drop ,penetrated and it breathed far better than anything i have ever worn! that´s saying something... i was in the army for 10 years and an eagle scout. i have tried everything... i bought the janak because it is a walker´s jacket. i the next model up, has all the same stats, but the pockets are cross pockets and the hood is made for a helmet. i don´t need nor want that. this one is perfect. it even has a wire visor so you don´t need a baseball cap to keep the hood out of your eyes. (patagonia and actryx are just coming out with this feature) if you are in the rain a lot, buy this jacket! it light and it works!
