Years of experience have enabled this American brand to provide you with one of the most comfortable and practical suspension systems on the market with the Fairview 40L, combining a LightFrame™ harness with a lightweight, breathable backpanel to give you a cool, friction-free load experience. To give greater protection to the harness’ handles and reduce the Fairview 40L’s overall profile, this backpack includes an innovative stowaway system that allows you to hide the entire harness in an easily accessible pocket.
To increase luggage safety, Osprey included padded front and side panels in the Fairview 40L, protecting your belongings against worldwide airports’ renowned chaos. A series of internal and external compression straps keep your cargo stable and secure, while a variety of side handles allow you to carry the backpack from any angle when its harness isn’t an option.
On its inside, the Fairview 40L contains all the usual Osprey features, but its padded sleeve for laptops and tablets and scratch-proof front pocket truly shines in guaranteeing that your most precious equipment is safe against any accident.

The Fairview is our lightest travel backpack, adjusted to the maximum dimensions for air transport in the EU.
Constructed with a ventilated mesh back panel and removable zip, the Fairview can be carried like a backpack, but packed like a suitcase.
The Fairview backrest system offers an impressive fit tailored to a woman´s anatomy, with an ergonomic belt, yoke-shaped harness and specific back panel.
The strong and durable back panel allows for the comfortable transport of all equipment when traveling to the hotel, the airport or far beyond.
The padded handles on the top and on both sides and the detachable shoulder strap, allow you to grab the travel bag at the airport luggage straps wherever you go and take it away quickly.
The bag is easy to carry and contains a large zippered opening for direct access to the main compartment, as well as lockable zippers for added security.
Internal compression straps allow you to maximize capacity, and secure your belongings.
There is also a top pocket for electronics and sunglasses, as well as front pockets for water bottles and an internal padded laptop sleeve.

I love this backpack. I am able to adjust it very well to my body and it is comfortable. I did not do that, but that did not bother me that much. Unfortunately, it is not waterproof but the rain will cover the job. I would love if it had a small pocket on the belt so it would be easier to carry things that one needs to reach without taking out the bag and put it on again.

I just received the Fairview 40L backpack roughly a week ago and I’m very happy with the efficient delivery process. I was worried it will not arrive before my Philippines trip on 6 Jan but it arrived way before then and I’m glad. I tried it on fully loaded with items and the fit is good for my petite frame of 4’11”. Overall I’m happy with it so far, will review again once I’m back from the Philippines trip on 20 Jan.

The backpack ss color is ordered from grey. But looks almost green. Some people say that color on monitor looks different from the real pack. It is a high quality backpack. I can ist wait to travel with it!
