Manufactured from a durable polyester and nylon blend, the Renn 50L can be adapted to a variety of uses – though it shines on camping and hiking - without losing its utility and overall resistance. Its AirSpeed™ backpanel, combined with a contoured, padded harness that has great adjustability, ensures an always comfortable load with a breathable feel. The addition of a webbing padded hipbelt with mesh pockets not only increases stability but also allows you to keep small objects and tools always at hand.
The Renn 50L makes use of internal and external compression straps to help you carry your items in a stable, organized manner. A sleeping bag compartment with floating divider at the pack’s bottom and an internal hydration sleeve, along with several stretch mesh side pockets, gives you all the practicality you need for long, deep trips into the wilderness. As per usual in every Osprey’s outdoor-oriented packs, the Renn 50L also has an integrated raincover for increased weather protection.

With a simple and cutting-edge design, the Renn is an innovative hiking backpack that offers you unsurpassed comfort and fit.
The Renn features a highly adjustable ventilated back system that incorporates AirSpeed technology with suspended mesh that creates a wide air gap between the pack and your back.
This allows the body to rest on the hipbelt of the backpack, which provides greater comfort and a very stable load support.
Thanks to an innovative tensioner system, adjusting the torso length is completely intuitive.
The Renn 50 offers you a simple, fast and perfect adjustment.
To accommodate a greater number of torso lengths, these packs include two cargo lifters on the top that ensure that the shoulder pads offer maximum comfort whatever your position.
The wide, padded hipbelt provides a very comfortable fit and helps you carry heavier loads in your backpack.
The Renn has all the necessary elements to complete multi-day cruises:
a large capacity with access points to the top cover and the bottom compartment for the sleeping bag.
An internal divider incorporates a separate bottom compartment that can be removed when not in use.
It includes several compression straps that give the backpack more stability and do not detract from the functionality of the mesh pockets for the water bottles.
Dual hipbelt pockets and a large top flap pocket with key clip allow easy access to smaller items.
If necessary, the Renn is compatible with Osprey Daylite backpacks, as the smallest backpack can be attached to the largest one, expanding its capacity and giving you the option of leaving your large backpack at the camp to complete a shorter journey with your one-day backpack.

The backpack is one size that varies from an XS to a SM. My girlfriend is 1.7 tall and unfortunately it wasn´t the best option for her size. You can find the measurements in cm on the osprey website.

This backpack we are very pleased with the construction and the amount of room in it. Expecially the versatility of the back frame to adjust it to our 10 year old. We are looking at this pack not only for backpacking later in her life but also for escaping the hurricanes that come to our coast. She will be able to pack all of her essentials, clothes, medications, toiletrees, and shoes plus a favorite stuff animal. Thank you for your excellent craftsmanship in this product. She loves it.
