I was looking for relacement of my 6 years old salomon backpack. It started to wear so I desided to give that Osprey a try after reading a lot of reviews and videos on youtube. So all in all it is a perfect pack as an everyday pack for the city or kinda daypack for the trail. I absolutely lovin it! The only concern is about zips, why are they not YKK for such a price...

Very simple but robust and sits comfortably on the back. Osprey back system is amazing. Stratos 24L is my lighter backpack (also have Atmos) and both are exceptional backpacks. Weight trade-off (heavier due to frame) for me is insignificant for such great airspeed suspension, superb ventilation and my back support. Even with 3L camelback water blader still have enough place to put my stuff. But for more space better use smaller ones. Extension pocket is excellent idea to put rain cover / sweater / flip flops or to use it as extension of main area. Great for single day hikes or city all day walks. Used it on my vacation with 6-8 hours of walking each day and it was good choice for my back as of weight suspension and ventilation.

Perfect backpack for a day trip. I was choosing between 24L and 32L and choose 24L as the best variant for my city and cycling trips. If someone looking for the 1 or 2 days trekking trips the Stratos 32L will be better.

Backpack simple, robust, essential without frills and above all of excellent workmanship. The 24-hour liaison is perfect for day trips. Tested on a hot day, the backrest ventilation is excellent, the vertical pocket and the 2 pockets on the belt are very handy for storing phone and documents. Promoted with full marks
