Volta 9.2 mm is a Peltz rope 30 meters long that includes the Duractec Dry treatment that generates high levels of performance in any situation with dirt and abrasion. Additionally, it includes technology that stabilizes the threads, allowing the rope to be more homogeneous and making it easier for you to hold with your hands.
This model can be used in different activities, always relying on the flexibility it generates in the field. You can use it single, double or twin on rocks, snow or mixed terrain.
Using this Petzl rope you will perform the correct maneuver because it has a specific folding system. Also, this model points to the middle of the rope to facilitate maneuvers. It is available in orange and gray.

I have to add that evaluating a rope with only two uses is not the most appropriate, but the first impressions are very good, perfect diameter checked with grigri2, grigri plus and clickup. The rope runs very well through the device making it easier to wind the opener. When running also requires more care when ensuring that with a larger diameter. It is a soft rope, I mean that you can deform it if you pinch it with your fingers, which gives a very good touch when handling it and having good knotting favors running through the belayer and prevents the loops from getting so much stuck in it. Not much gum in static which is appreciated and at the same time cushions well the falls. At the moment, with two days of use, a marvel, although perhaps they can come out with time

The rope is super smooth, almost too much as the first time I tried it the rope was just flying through my grigri without auto-locking. But as soon as you put proper load in it it's actually fine, did have me worried for a second though. It's definitely on the thinner end and since it's soo smooth it feels a bit unsafe but at the same time makes it super easy to belay. It also means it's very light which is great for carrying around or packing in your suitcase. It does get tangled easily, but still one of the nicest ropes I've climbed with.

The 2019/08 tag rope arrived with the 2019/9 order. Shipping to Japan takes about 10 days. It was good to get a very cheap price even if you included shipping. The color looks like a single color in the picture, but white and gray are interwoven. The color is also beautiful, so it should be conspicuous for use in the swamp.
