Light but large

This probe is lightweight but it´s quite bulky. I´ve never seen a probe with such a large diameter. When space is tight in your pack this is not the probe you want to be carrying.

I also bought the iProbe II. I will likely use this for racing, and the other one for serious avalanche risk. This is crazy light, but also conforms to new avalanche safety class requirements in the US which is now 260 cm.
