The Ruffwear Doubleback Harness is a strength-rated belay harness that opens up areas that were previously difficult for dogs to access, while providing an increased level of safety, comfort and convenience. The Doubleback Harness is designed to safely lift and lower dogs in exposed areas, and is strength-rated to 2,000 lbf or 8.9 kN.

Very pleased with the Ruff Wear Double Back harness, bought L/XL for our Siberian Huskey 27kg, 90cm girth. We wanted a harness for security when mountaineering, climbing and canyoning. It looks like it will work perfectly.

Ruffwear's Double Back Harness is gorgeous. We are very satisfied with the purchase. Our mascot is a 30kg Grand Griffon, with a thoracic girth of 79cm, and we chose the L-XL size. It suits him perfectly. We use it for walks, hiking, but also to raise it in everyday situations such as stairs, car, etc ..., given that due to its age and mobility problems it has difficulties. It is a great help and does the job. It is well balanced and distributes stress evenly. The finishes are of high quality. Without a doubt, the quality of a Ruffwear product is unmatched by any other brand. I recommend it 100% if what is needed is a harness that provides support, suspension in the air and security.

The product is well made and shows high quality of fabric. I use it since a few month for hiking so it is in quite demanding use and it still is in a good condition. We have size M for our 32kg furry friend, I got the impression it could be slightly bigger but Size medium was still okay. However I would probably go a size bigger if I would have to reorder.
