Salewa Alp Trainer Mid Gore-Tex is a flexible, comfortable, hiking and high intensity mountain training boots designed for everyone who is a alpinist to the core. This versatile shoe provides maximum comfort, stability and traction in varied weather conditions and rugged terrain.
The sure-grip Vibram outsole which enables the boots to penetrate into the ground and creates a good friction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. The Gore-tex Performance Comfort lining provides optimized breathability and waterproofing even in wet and slippery surfaces. It works exceptionally well in all sorts of trails.
Also, the Bilight mid-sole provides improved and long-lasting shock absorbency and rebound. The 3F System provides optimized breathability and stability even in wet and slippery surfaces and Salewa’s Alpine fit guarantee 100% blister free. My first boots are also Rapace boots, with which I fell in love with Salewa. Here is a more flexible sole that is lighter for the foot. The service from Spain has been outstanding all these years ... everything is perfect. Great boot! Highly recommended!

Wore these a couple times and on first long day hike they killed my feet,on my next hike i re-tied the laces a different way and they were a dream,very light,waterproof walking through streams,well ventilated and with sturdy grip on mossy and stony steep gradients. Recommend them ten times over.

I'm between a Wide and Normal foot width. I went with size 9 US and am happy to say the toebox is wide enough to avoid rubbing on the sides while still allowing enough wiggle room for my toes. Haven't needed to separate the insoles as part of the MFF system.

Good product, they are relatively narrow but wear like a glove. I will test the boots better but the opinion is excellent. Whoever has the widest feet, which is not my case, should be more careful. Fast delivery, recommend the store.

I had the opportunity to try them during a 60km trek divided in two days, everything hurt me but my feet didn't, they could have walked as many without problems, thanks to an excellent shoe that puts comfort above all without neglecting safety and quality of materials , the vibram sole does not deny and neither does the gore fabric, excellent breathability but remember to combine them with a good pair of socks!

These are the best, most comfortable shoes that I have used (in the 30+ years that I have been in the mountains) even in somewhat difficult conditions = spring snow during 4, 5 day "treks" between 2000 and 3800m or they have resisted well; I have others more suitable for dirty weather but after + - 10 years of service I still use them in via ferrata.
