Salewa Catinaccio Tirol Wool is a Tirol Wool insulated jacket that is warm, water-repellent, breathable designed especially for all the alpinists, who enjoys the high adrenaline rush from nonstop climbing routes and high aerobic activities. It is a perfect jacket that provides the optimal functionality and maximum warmth in mountain environments.
Made with highly-functional Tirolwool Celliant insulation that reflects and restores the body heat perfectly keeping you warm and comfortable when you are enjoying the high intensity aerobic activities in the varied climate conditions. The outer fabric is water and wind resistant while the Tirolwool lining is a soft, natural, sustainable material that provides next-to-skin comfort and maximum breathability.
The gusseted sleeves are ergonomically shaped that provides maximum liberty of body movements. The adjustable hood and cuffs with elastic binding seals out cold and the compression stow bag makes it easier to carry. The 2 zippered pockets have ample storage capacity for your daily essential items.

An alternative product to fully synthetic insulation. I bought it with excitement because Salewa always produces different and high-quality products. The subject of his body made me think a bit. The models always wore tight and short clothes. I think its usefulness is more important than its athletic appearance. I will use it as the 3rd layer. It is a very light jacket, with good thermal protection (closes up to the chin). According to the size guide they recommended a 52 (XL) but the measurements with a tape measure gave me a 50 (L) for age 49 and chest/medium waist.

Great jacket. I am very happy with the purchase. The jacket is very light but still warm. I'm 185 cm and 90 kg, XL is big enough to wear a mid-layer underneath. L would also fit. Delivery time only 5 days. Everything perfect!!!

I am 1,83m tall and weigh 72kg, I took size L / 50 and I must say that it fits me perfect. The jacket weighs very little so it is comfortable to carry with you for those who do bikepacking or in the backpack. The materials are insulating but at the same time breathable.

Вещь сама по-себе функциональная? Довольно хорошо отводит влагу при сильных физических нагрузках , температурный диапазон широкий , можно и в минус мягкий быть уверенным?

It is an excellent jacket even in extreme cold conditions, just put on thermal underwear and a technical sweatshirt ... It holds up well in light rain but for heavy rain or snow you need a shell on top
