Salewa Crow Gore-tex is an abrasion resistant, comfortable hiking and high intensity mountain training boots designed for everyone who is a alpinist to the core. This versatile boots provides maximum comfort, stability and traction in varied weather conditions and rugged terrain.
The crampons compatible Vibram New Mulaz sole which enables the boots to penetrate into the ground and creates a good traction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. The Gore-tex Performance Comfort lining provides optimized breathability and waterproofing even in wet and slippery surfaces. It works exceptionally well in all sorts of trails.
The 3F System provides optimized breathability and stability even in wet and slippery surfaces and Salewa’s Alpine fit guarantee 100% blister free. The delivery time for Mexico was longer than expected, but they arrived in good condition. I normally wear size 27.0 in Asics shoes. I ordered these Boots in 27.5 (42.5 EU) and they fit me quite well. I feel like enough extra clearance is needed on the descents and I don't feel like the boot is too big for situations where toe-off is necessary.

Needed some boots for an alpine mountaineering course, so I purchased these. They are perfect! Very comfortable, have durable soles and are waterproof. The "What is my size?" guide was spot on, glad I trusted it and ordered my pair.

Robust quality and beautiful boot, but my foot is very wide and the boot suffocated my fingers, I recommend 1 or 2 sizes more for those with wide feet.

They are very good and resistant. They are comfortable, they fit well and they did not squeeze me at the toe. What if they are narrow, the sole is narrow and gives a feeling that there is a lack of support. Maybe it's a matter of habit... I think they are more for snowy terrain. The sole is very rigid, it does not flex as much as other materials, so it looks like a semi-rigid boot. The grip of the sole is very good on hard stone and on loose stone. Be careful with wet stone and moss because the glue is not porous, it is very smooth and plastic, (I don't know if it needs to settle)

I use these boots for doing line work (power lines) in Arizona. These boots are great well rounded boots. From running around on the ground, to working out of my hooks, they hold up and are comfortable. I’ve tried all the other brands typical to the trade, and these by far are the best for me. They breathe good, hold up to the desert heat and don’t feel like I’m walking on solid planks. Highly recommended for linemen.

In the description they have of the boots does not say anything about them, comes something from a pair of pants, so they can change it. I just received my order in a timely manner and without delay. I just tried the boots and they are very robust, they protect the ankle very well and the grip that the sole has is exceptional.

It depends on the area where you live. The boot is very comfortable for me, but for the area where I live it is too warm even in winter. For routes to the north or Sierra Nevada outside the summer season, they would go very well, they are semi-automatic.

Yes this boot is ok for hiking, in fact its a very comfortable boot for a long days hike, especially on steep grassy slopes where you need support and might have to use th eedge of the boot for traction

Personally, I use them in summer and fall. I also use them in the spring to make snowshoes. This is the advantage of this boot which is versatile. It is relatively light, it maintains the ankle well. It is a semi-rigid boot; as much as the wrap of the foot fits like a glove, the flexibility of the sole of the boot is more rigid. I chose this boot for its versatility. I have a 2nd pair of leather boots for very wet periods.
