It’s made of our lightweight, comfortable blended Alpine Wool Iconic fabrics and is ideal for travel, active alpine and everyday use. Wool is the ideal alpine insulation material – its fine crimped fibres with their hydrophilic (water retaining) cores, trap air and absorb moisture to provide natural thermo-regulation. It keeps you warm and comfortable, lets your skin breathe and prevents odours from forming. At the torso, we use 320-weight piqué knit wool (recycled from post-consumer sources) blended with synthetic fibres in a lofty, waffle construction to offer additional versatility. As such, it has 4-way stretch for good freedom of movement and prevents overchilling in wet and windy conditions. For the sleeves, side inserts and hood, we use Polarwool – a soft and natural hybrid fleece made in a special knitting process with 75% merino wool and 25% synthetic fibre content for warmth, stretch and greater breathability.
