Salewa Fanes Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The Fanes Wool Long Sleeve Tee is the perfect functional baselayer for cooler conditions. Made of a merino/polypropylene and nylon blend, it provides warmth, yet cools you down when you overheat. It’s expert at moving sweat away from your body quickly, leaving your skin feeling dry. It is lightweight and soft, yet abrasion-resistant and does not require frequent washing, but remains resistant to body odours. The functional mix of fibres is what provides the versatility: Wool fibres absorb between 20 to and 35 per cent of their own weight in water, keeping you dry even when you sweat. Synthetic fibres absorb less sweat, but specialise in wicking moisture away from the body. In addition to moisture management, wool is also naturally thermo-regulating. We designed the sleeves with gusseted underarms for enhanced freedom of movement, and the athletic fit keeps the fibres close to the skin for improved performance. This baselayer is made entirely in Europe and the fabric is spun at Italian spinning mills.
