The exclusive and multifunctional Vibram Mtn Trainer Evo outsole enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground and creates a good friction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. The 360 protective rubber band and Gore-tex extended Comfort lining provides high performance and stability even in wet and slippery surfaces. It works exceptionally well in all sorts of trails. Also, the dual-density Bilight TPU Technology mid-sole provides improved and long-lasting shock absorbency and rebound.
In addition, the Ortholite® footbed provides additional cushioning and wicks away moisture, helping to keep feet cool and dry. And the stretch gaiters keep out trail debris, such as grit and leaves. The ferrata zone ensures better grip in rocks and rugged terrains.

Approach shoes excellent as materials. Compared to the previous year's model, they are lighter. The padding is therefore less, which is why I had to make a return as they dress a little wider than the previous model. I found an adequate fit by decreasing by half the number.

This is my second pair of these shoes - I live in them! I also have the boots - the Mtn Trainer Mid. They fit my narrow foot wit a high instep, they are tough - after years of rocky scrambles the first pair shows almost zero wear. If Salewa keeps making them, I'll keep buying them.

Semi-rigid shoes could be said. It has a groove in the middle in the middle for via ferrata, a detail. They are not boots but they go to the movies. Salewa is the best.
