Awesome jacket for a great price!

Awesome GoreTex Pro jacket for a great price (thank you Trekkinn!) Very thin and lightweight, packs small, yet warm and 100% wind and water resistant. The hood zipper is just genius and works well with a climbing helmet. Sleeves are long and at the ends spacious enough to fit over winter (skiing) gloves. The back of the jacket is also longer, and the front pockets and underarm zippers work well both with backpack's hip belt / shoulder straps and climbing harness. The inner pockets are also great - you can fit your phone into the left one and a buff or thin hat into the right mesh pocket. The size chart is off though, so if you have an athletic body with broad shoulders, size up. According to the size chart I should fit a DE 34, and while it did fit even with a down jacket underneath, the shoulders were restricting arm movement even with only a t-shirt underneath. The 36 (DE) fits perfectly though! There was no problem with returning the smaller one and getting a refund. Highly recommend!

Third layer totally waterproof, robust and quite light. The fabric is not soaked and keeps you dry. Since I bought it I always carry it in my backpack at the winter outings.
