I have already tested the boots on a 4-day expedition, with a well-loaded backpack, on hard terrain up to 3300 meters above sea level. It took a little time to soften in the city and the truth is that the result was wonderful. They sat very well at all times, exceptional grip and perfect traction. Well fitted and with a first ultra-thin sock below the trekking sock I didn't have a single blister. Excellent fit

Excellent product, the presentation in Red color is great. The size was correct 42 equivalent to 8 in Mex. Comfort is very comforting. I have used it little, in months I will try it on a mountain of 5300 MASL.

These boots are published for hiking, but if you want to summit and return the same day you will not have a problem with the weather, they are excellent for snow and have great grip on rock, even when wet. Salewa for me, the best brand of mountaineering boots.

Semi-rigid boot, with quality materials, aesthetically very cool. Sole with a lot of grip (not so much on wet rock). It fits very well and keeps the foot protected, but it is very hard. I have already gone out 4 times with them, medium-high difficulty routes (15-20 km) and after 4-5 hours my feet end up quite "sore". I hope that with use and time it softens and we "get along".

Hello, shipping on time and goods in accordance with the order. I have been a follower of Salewa for several years, and on the product side nothing to complain about. It's perfect. However I do not understand why this site is poorly rated. Several orders for several years and no complaints about the delivery. Lots of negative customer notes with "too French" names and always with the same phrasing. Weird.

I spend a fair bit of time in walking boots and from the get go these have felt superior to the other leading brands I’ve had recently. This is my first pair of Salewa boots but as other reviewers have said they fit like a glove and are incredibly well made. I appreciate this is down to the last in terms of fit, but I do think I might have found my forever boot manufacturer in Salewa would recommend to people with a similar foot type to my own every time.

The truth is that I have bought the boots to take them down the street and although at first it made me a little hard after they were done. These boot are great, amazingly comfy and well made. They are stable and grip well in any environment I have tried them on, Glades, Mud, and Scree running. Delivery took a month but I am blaming Covid for that.

This is already tge 3rd edition of the Rapace I bought over 6 years: a sturdy, solid piece of all-year an all-weather footwear, hugely comfortable. That said, I’d never buy again with TrekkInn : customer silence is poor customer service

Very comfortable boots with excellent grip and good permeability when crossing streams. The rubber covering the toes gets easily damaged when bush bashing and when walking in scree. A slightly thicker one, and better glued would be welcome.

Wanted a semi rigid winter walking/climbing boot that can take a C2 crampon. Wore boots for 24km hike straight from box - Yorkshire Dales during Storm Ciara - mud, rock, some snow, lot of up and down on all surfaces, did I mention mud, water, oh and mud. No rubs, blisters and completely dry feet - I’m amazed as I wanted to ‘provoke’ a foot problem before using them in more remote areas but absolute brilliant fit. Only caution is on wet gritstone slabs - don’t slip. Definite 5 stars and the service also 5 stars - arrived in less than a week.

It was per gift. Encara has not released them, but the impression is molt bona. The boot is fixed to the peu i sembla molt comfortable. The size that is normally served is correct. The ease of purchase and the rapidesa d´enviaments help you to decide if you have doubts about the purchase.

Super comfy. Have done two treks in the high himalaya and they have performed very well. Absolutely no break in required, waterproofing is good, no tongue wag, no blistering. Only slight downside is the grip is not the best on wet rocks owing to the stiff sole, but thats something one can compromise on because otherwise these boots are solid.

Great feeling of stability. The leg is fix inside the boot. First week it gets heavy blisters on sole area and the fingers head, but thereafter was ok. Now I am using the boots daily 9-15 km and occasionally 30 km with no blisters.

Boots with semi-rigid sole, suitable for hybrid crampons (strap on front and closure on heel) and getting some settings for inner sole. Versatile for many terrains, good for climbing. From other users get the feedback of long lasting as main day-by-day boots. Can be used until -10 degr Celsius with a heavy wool sock, meaning the boots aren't very warm.There are many exceptional boots on market, this is one of them - for 3 seasons only.

Immediately put to the test in a ferrata of about 2h, for the approach I kept the standard lacing, then with a few gestures it was enough for me to tighten the laces to the tip and go! The semi-rigid sole provides excellent support even on grips of just a few cm!

Very comfortable boot, I have used them in 2 mountains above 4000 msn and they have an incredible performance, very good grip, impermeability, and lightness, fully compatible with semi-automatic crampons. The last is considered to buy 1/2 larger number than we usually use.

i can’t believe i didn’t drop ,the coin the buy these boots sooner, last year i saved the money and bought the salewa alp trainer mid for the mountaineers route up mt. whitney ...a decent boot but didn’t hold up w/ crampons and the elements. so i finally bought these and haven’t stopped wearing them since i got them and i’m head over heals (literally) over these boots. stiff but yet flexible, comfortable and nearly no break in period. hit the pines for a 6 hour snowshoe trek and these performed 5stars!! fee very confident and excited to put them to the true test on my everest basecamp trek in april! just wish salewa would make them in the bright colors again!!

Very good quality / price purchase, I have only tried them once, and with snow I have been very satisfied, they have very good grip with powder snow, they are very hot and very resistant to water, a bit stiff if you want them for hiking without snow but everything and so very comfortable to be a semi-rigid boot, good protection of ankle and semi-automatic crampons are perfect.

They gave me the boas Salewa Rapace a couple of months ago, bought here in trekkinn. I use them in Central America, the Andean zone, the boots have excellent finishes, but they may be a little hot for this climate, although they have good breathability, otherwise they seem very comfortable, curiously the sole of the boot has a narrower profile than the body of it. It's time to try them with crampons.

Shoes suitable for all seasons for demanding trails and via ferrata! Comfort and exceptional grip .... great solidity but still leaving good movement to the ankle in the direction of walking! Take them for intensive use, for walking in a quiet trail not the right shoes!
