The Salomon Quest 4D 3 Goretex shoe is a traditional model of a hiking boot, of high cane, that allows very good control of the ankle, which increases its stability, comfort and resistance.
This version has been created with High Traction Contagrip sole, whose adherence to the most technical and complex ground is superior to any other trekking shoe. But what makes this boot has no limit is the 4D advanced chassis composed of two materials in the EVA midsole that guarantee the comfort and cushioning.
The Goretex membrane resists at all times against the water and moisture so the impermeability could be said to be A since you never get to feel your feet wet thanks to its breathable mesh.
Although it looks very robust, it is a shoe that feels light even after several days in the mountain. The protective rubber on the toe works so well that you do not notice the blows of the rocks on the foot.

After using it a few times in routes of three to four hours they have spoken in the area of the ankles which is where they bothered me at the beginning now I can say that they are good boots and they grip well in dry both in ascents and in descents in the wet I have tried yet but I think it will be good now to have what last I hope they last longer than the previous X Ultra.

Ok but it is a bit stiff in the part of the ankles I have used it three times and it ended with the crushed ankles and that without tightening the laces I hope that over time loosen otherwise they look good in what is quality price I think I expected more for the price I have for now I am not very happy with the boots having when I give more use.

It was the first purchase I made and the experience has been perfect. The order I had at home at 48 h and knew at all times when I had left and arrived. The boots are very comfortable (I have not yet come out to try them but they promise) and at a very very good price.

As in slippers from the first exit ... winter temperatures below 0 °, ice, mud, frozen ground ... Nothing to say !!! This is my second pair of this model (the first held shock 6 long years). Look forward to them doing the TMB ...

I purchased these boots after reading numerous reviews online. Shoes very robust and perfect for the mountains, even in winter with snow, given the materials in goretex. I took half a number more to be able to wear thicker socks to fight the cold.
